Our Story

Therapy Session

Founded and directed by Tatiana , Principal Psychotherapist, the practice is guided by a clear vision: psychotherapy is not a service for quick relief from life pressures, but a considered commitment to understanding the causes of one’s difficulties, taking responsibility for one’s life, and meaningfully transforming its quality over time.

We work from multiple locations across London and also offer online sessions. However, our ethical position favours in-person psychotherapy as face-to-face work offers benefits that cannot be replicated online.

At Inner Ground Psychology, we hold that psychotherapy requires not only focused attention during the session, but also substantial clinical reflection and consultation outside the session. For this reason, we work with a deliberately limited caseload, allowing us to maintain a high standard of care, depth of engagement, substantial supervision and ethical accountability.

We understand modern psychotherapy in the 21st century as inherently interdisciplinary. Effective clinical work requires a strong academic foundation alongside substantial experience with presentations ranging from mild to severe conditions. Our approach is informed by contemporary developments in trauma studies, somatic therapies, psychology, psychiatry, group analysis, and social psychology. Where appropriate multidisciplinary consultation in our approach.

Ethics are central to our work. Inner Ground Psychology practices in accordance with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Code of Ethics and Professional Practice, and holds ethical integrity as non-negotiable in all clinical and organisational decisions.

In addition to psychotherapy, we offer tailored corporate work for CEOs and small professional groups, designed to meet the specific psychological and relational demands of leadership and responsibility.

Tatiana – Founder, Director & Principal Psychotherapist

I am a trauma-informed integrative psychotherapist working within somatic, psychodynamic, and transpersonal frameworks. Drawing from multiple modalities, my approach is tailored for the unique needs of each client.

In general, the therapeutic process unfolds across three levels.

Level 1: Trauma Stabilisation and Regulation This foundational phase establishes safety and prepares the system for deeper work by reducing symptomatology and strengthening internal resources. Stabilisation is essential for creating the conditions in which meaningful therapeutic change can occur.

Level 2: Co-regulation and Relational Work At this stage, we address relational wounds, family history, and recurring patterns that limit emotional freedom and quality of life. Through co-regulation and a secure therapeutic relationship, the client’s inner landscape becomes more receptive to transformation.

Level 3: Transpersonal and Spiritual Growth With increased resilience, self-trust, and relational safety, the work expands into deeper layers of psyche. This level supports movement beyond personal history toward purpose, meaning, and connection with the authentic Self. Here, therapy becomes a pathway to integration, wholeness, and genuine authenticity.
